Molly & Matt’s Stunning Museum Wedding in Ohio: A Day Filled with Art, Love, and Luxury

Molly and Matt are two of the most down-to-earth people I have ever met. These two are actual best friends, which I believe always makes for the best marriages! They share a super special bond, which was obvious to everyone in attendance on their wedding day, including me.

I’ve known Molly since our time together at Purdue University. We made so many fun memories together, so capturing her wedding felt especially meaningful. Purdue is also where Molly and Matt’s love story began!

For their art gallery museum wedding, Molly and Matt chose to tie the knot in Molly’s hometown in Ohio. On the morning of their wedding, the couple was met with a unique surprise. The Air and Water Show was taking place that weekend, so while Molly got ready in her hotel suite, she and her wedding party had a perfect view of the planes soaring through the sky. Talk about a memorable way to start the day!

A Private Art Gallery Wedding Experience

One of the highlights of Molly and Matt’s wedding was the venue they chose for their reception. It took place at the iconic Cleveland Museum of Art, which is a stately museum built from large marble columns and surrounded by beautiful gardens.

After their church ceremony, the couple wandered the gardens outside the museum before heading inside. They were given private access to one of the museum’s art galleries, where they were able to steal a few quiet moments alone before heading to cocktail hour with their guests. These moments wandering around the quiet museum are some of my absolute favorites from the day!

Before their guests arrived, the couple spent time taking in the beauty of their reception space and seeing their vision come to life. Their reception was held in the museum’s atrium and, let me tell you, it was a sight to behold! The planning team at Kirkbrides truly outdid themselves! Every detail was meticulously planned and executed, from the luxurious floral centerpieces to the sleek all-white table settings and custom drinks. It set the scene perfectly for what was to be an amazing night filled with heartfelt toasts, incredible food, no shortage of aperol spritzes, and an epic dance party.

Molly and Matt’s museum wedding was truly one-of-a-kind, and I am so honored to have gotten to play a part in documenting their love story.
